I'm back!!!

I'm back from my vacation leave!!! Leaving my pampered life for work makes me feel like I'm starting all over again..Makes me feel like I just started to fly yesterday!  But anyway back to reality.. Back to work... Back to the dessert... Too many pics to upload including my tour from the past flights.. I haven't uploaded anything yet because my laptop had a VIRUS for over a month - but now everythings okay.. Yey!!!  Hmmm, but maybe it will take me more than a week to  upload it co'z tommorow I'll be flying to Washington D.C and that was around 14hrs away with a very short layover by the time I arrived in Doha.. I'm zombie already!

APRIL Voyage Report - Doha, Washington & Manila

APRIL 7-8 2008 --> I had Washington flight again for the 7th or 8th times.. (not sure na! hehe) The night we arrived our hotel, we went straight to the nearby supermarket, we had a tiring flight but still managed to shop & have our dinner.. The next day Olivia & I went to Tysons Corner- mall because I was planning to buy i-Phone at Apple shop but unfortunately it's OUT OF STOCK! So better wait for my next Washington flight on the 26th!

APRIL 11-12 2008 --> It's supposed to be Bangkok flight but I swapped it for MANILA... As usual, I made alot of EFFORTS to swap this flight! it's a VERY short stay, I don't even have a full day but still worth it..
- Had dinner in UCC Vienna Café at Mall of Asia & quick grocery at Watsons, What makes me sad is that I don't even have the time for facial or massage..

*About the flight going back to Doha:

- It's supposed to be a 260 seater aircraft configuration but it turns out to be the 305 aircraft configuration because of subload staff travelling as passenger...
- We're 30 mins delayed because the R3 door can't be Armed..
- 1 crew broke her hand because of the 2 Bar carts that accidentally slip in her hand.
- 3hrs before arrival to Doha, I administer 2 bottles of oxygen to a passenger & we almost had an emergency landing because the passenger is not breathing anymore! She's so pale already! Luckily, there was alot of nurse on board! There's also a Doctor seated in the Bussiness class but we didn't bother him anymore 'cause he's drunk!
- During the top of descent, my nose bleed for 8mins!
- While signing out, I had a Roster Change! They welcome me with a JEDDAH-BAHRAIN flight the following morning..
- While on the bus, on the way to my accomodation somebody told me there was a fire in our accomodation the night before I arrived..

* Super dami nangyari in a span of 24 hrs hindi ko na nga sinulat yung iba kasi delicate matters.. (Shhhhh!)

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND

We depart in our hotel around 8 in the morning went to the Airport train station bought Zürich day pass-it has free access to museums/attractions in Zürich city but we only availed it once due to lack of time and because we preferred to just see the scenery around the area.

We also availed Best of Switzerland City Tours - http://www.Switzerland-tours.ch - The city tour consist of shopping and business centre on Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai with its medieval Old Town and view to the Lindenhof, the largest church clock-face of Europe on St. Peter, the Guild Houses, the lake, and the Old Town but sitting in the tour bus for 2 hours with only 2 stops is not enough so Patricia & I decided to explore the city more - despite of the -1 degree Celsius climate!

SENTIMENTS - The Real Me

* I'm just in my room most of the time I wonder why it took ages for me to write in my blog.Hmmm, Let's just say I'm not into writing. I just want to browse the internet for movie reviews, fashion, gadgets,  Hello Kitty stuff, home stuff & online shopping! or watch DVDs, organize my stuff, clean,etc.. If I sounds a bit weird, yes sometimes I am! hahaha! Kidding... I'm just a certified homebody, If I don't have flight, Time is consecutively passing without me noticing it. I can stay more than a week inside my room without seeing or talking to anyone, without being conscious of sunrise & sunset & without being susceptible of my surroundings. I'm not as loner as it seems, of course I also enjoyed the company of other people. There's just a period in my life that I felt like "Hibernating". Everyone is entitled to have their own notion, I guess this is mine.

* Since I was younger my Mom is giving me all I that I want, I grew up having too much of everything - In return, I never been to a happy-go-lucky stage in my whole life, I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't party, I don't give her a hard time, I'm always at home..

* God is so good. I have alot of things to be thankful of - In return, I rather have my own world because I want to avoid committing any mistake, I don't want to do anything that will offend him. I do pray the rosary without asking for anything but thanksgiving. It's definitely better to be a good girl because he gave me the life that I wanted.

* I couldn't ask for more, I spent my birthday in Manila, Chinese New Year in Washington, Valentine in London. I'm in the state of my life that I don't have any major problem (pls don't give me,hehe!) I feel proud, I feel successfuI,I feel fortunate, I feel positive, I feel pretty! I feel contented, I feel being loved,  I'm so happy with my clean & healthy living. I feel so grateful for having all the blessings God has given me. Amen!

VACATION LEAVE-JAN 2008

* It was just a short vacation but reminds me of my lifestyle before I became FA. Things I really miss:

- Home cooked dishes of my mom
- Food trip in different Restaurants w/Jero
- Movie Theater marathon almost every night
- Malling/Shopping everyday
- pampering myself in salon & spa!
& alot more!

* I went back to Doha flying with Gulf Air, I used my back up ticket because QR didn't allowed me to get in (even in jumpseat) because it's full flight! but anyway I had fun flying with GF because they didn't just allowed me to get in, they treated me as 1st class passenger as if I payed a full fare ticket! They were all so nice & accomodating..

* I don't have MNL flight for the month of Feb, just 2 Washington flights and lots of Standby (including 8 days Standby!) they they called me to operate London Heathrow on Valentine's day- but still no complain at least, I only have 1 Turnaround. Now I'm back again in Doha, back to work, back to 99% of being a homebody & back to my usual internet-eat-sleep routine.

Yes, it's my 23rd birthday and I'm proud to be 23 not only because I still "feel" like I'm a little girl but because there are lots of things I should be proud of & be thankful of.. Spent my actual birthday in Subic but honestly speaking, I spent the whole week as my birthday everyday! hahaha! I rather called it Birthweek.. (JOKE) I wonder how much pounds I gained due to nonstop eating but it doesn't matter because I enjoyed alot!

I was literally very seldom being called to operate a flight on my standby's.. In fact, I consider Standby as my Off! hehe! But during New Year' Eve, I felt like I need to go home early because lately I always have roster changes.. Then the rostering called past 9 in the morning of January 1' 2008 to say that I will operate Washington flight and I should be ready in 28minutes because the briefing already started!!! So I was like "Uh, No! Make it 40mins!"

The last time I had Washington Flight last October 2-4 2007 the flying time from Doha was only 12hrs 10 mins because it's still summer so the crew we're not that tired so we we're able to tour around Washington here's the pics--> http://starvillanueva.multiply.com/photos/album/58/WASHINGTON_USA Now that it's winter the flying time is 15hrs 30mins & it's full load of demanding passengers.. Haaay.. Ok it's new year - I don't want to complain anymore!

It was very cold outside, went to Super Bowl Restaurant, it's a Chinese/Thai Restaurant.. Since we don't have reservation it took us half an hour before they accomodate us.. I was with Kim & Jaime both Filipinas as well, Anabelle from Mauritius & our CSD (Cabin Service Director) Zaheer from Pakistan.. Then went to Nine West with Jaime,later on at Victoria Secret with Anabelle & kim then Groceries!!! the time flies fast we don't noticed that it's almost an hour to go before our wake up call so in other words, I don't have enough sleep again.. but the flying time going back to Doha is lesser & we have 3hrs 20mins resting period so it's ok.. To sum up everything, I'm glad I did this flight & to be in US on the 1st day of the year unexpectedly..

POST CHRISTMAS IN MANILA

December 27-28 2007

I had the Shortest Layover/stay in MNL (24 hrs-shorter than my Dec. 4-5 2007 MNL Flight) but still managed to do lots of things because I didnt Sleep! I even managed to go spa to have relaxing massage, nail Cleaning & footspa! haha! & of course grocery & Shopping! Also spent my time calling my closests friends in MNL to greet them Merry Christmas since I don't have enough time to meet them! Then I opened my gifts given my family, My Mom, Christian, Alma, Kuting, Kuya Lec & Auntie Lita.. I was surprised to found out that all the gifts left in the christmas tree was all mine! Wow! A Big Thanks.. Then, Dinner date with Jero at Mario's Restaurant went to their house so that I can give my christmas gift to his family.. Then, The night is over needed to fly back to Doha the following morning.. It was a very short stay but I'm still thankful Atleast I experienced the joy of holiday season in my HOME...
